DAMN! Awesome site! It\'s Book marked!!! Thank you so much!!!
I\'m still living in the 80\'s and although Rolands new kits these days are
pretty much up with todays sounds, THEY OR ANY OTHERS WILL NEVER TOUCH THE
CLASSIC SOUND THAT STARTED IT ALL, SIMMONS!!!!!!

I had the sds1 and played it for damn near 12 years til my poor chips finaly
died!

I\'ve been watching ebay latley and i\'m interested in a sds9 drum brain. Any
Idea where I can get one in good shape for a steal?

I live down here in the swamps of louisiana about 120 miles south west of New
Orleans. Any help would be appreciateed!

THANKS!

Has anyone got a usermanual or know where i can get a usermanual for the SDS7. I
love the looks and the sound of these, but it would be awful nice to be able to
use and program it proparly..

This Homepage cannot be true. Are there really some more Simmons-Idiots on this
Planet but me??? Nice! My Favourite is the V, this is the one and only real
Simmons. In the 80s i could not afford this expensive Thing, and so I built one
by myself (true). In my Repairshop are still all the Spare-Parts (also 10
SSM-Filters, Guys...). My V contains all Modules available, including HH-Pedal
and these Cymbal Hat-Pads. I have got also the SDS7 (the Simmons-Cabasa), the
SDS 1, the EPB, Selectorpad, MTM,etc. But I am only able to fix the V\'s, maybe
in some Cases the 7. So, if anybody has a Question or a Case of Repair, send a
Mail to keep these holy Things alive!

i prefer mac,but my computer is just a plain shitty pc so pc

comment: what a shame... I just installed the software developer tools under OS X to develop an openGL Simmons screensaver for Mac. Maybe you should think about changing your OS when I have finished?

Hello,
Your site is very good!
I will be very happy to contribute!
I am drawing the schematics from the SDS5 I bought two months ago on ebay.
I had the original SDS5 schematic from MUSICLAND,the SIMMONS FRENCH importator
in 1989 when I was 18 years old and begin to be interested by drum synth, but
like most SIMMONS documents are unreadable!
So I am redrawing them by my new babie!
Don\'t you think it will be interesting to put schematics on your site (and on
PAUL\'s site)
See you soon
Thierry EPPHERRE,a SIMMONS fan from FRANCE
