i own what i beleive to be some prototype simmons equipment mainly a sds 2 brain
(looks like this one http://www.simmons.synth.net/sds2/pics/sdsv_2.JPG ) and a
full set of pads some of which are made of very thick mdf rather than the
plastic construction of latter pads. from what i gather they may have belonged
to spandau ballet (some of the pads have the drummers initals set in the plastic
i think). just really after some info on these as i am looking to sell them to
help fund my new studio setup, they arnt in the best of condition the term well
gigged comes to mind nor do they have the stands or cables anymore. i have
tested the brain which seemed to be working fine (with i presume spandau ballets
presets stil saved)
any info would be apriciated. change the at for a @ and remove the spaces to

as we already cleared by email you had been talking about the top device which is the SDSV (just to keep the crowd calm, the SDS2 is still a unique prototype....). John Keeble of Spandau Ballet used to play an SDSV

Great site. I own a prototype simmons SDS 5 kit originally owned by LA session
drummer Harvey Mason. Do you know of anyone selling a cymbal pad?
