Hi,
it\'s more a question of "where on earth" but "where in Hollywood". Or even "Where and when on earth?".
To be honest: Watch Ebay and patience, patience, patience, luck and money. Sorry that I cannot provide a more convinient answer
Bye

Hello again and Thanks for the quick reply. I measured the damaged material and
it is slightly thicker @ .050" Think it makes a difference? Also, do you think
the hard pads trigger a tad differently than the rubber ones do? I had both and
the hard ones just seemed to work better with my SDSV\'s although the click from
hitting the pad could have been the factor.

Does anyone know where I can get SDSV series replacement heads or material? I
want the original riot shield material for three pads. Thanks ! - Roland

comment:
Hi,
try black lexan sheet, about 1mm thick. That\'s about the same riot shield material that was used for the SDSV pads. Should not be too expensive. You can search Ebay for black Lexan plates

I\'ve got a Simmons SDS-V drumbrain with the 5 standard modules (1 bass, 1
snare, 3 toms) which I\'m looking to sell. If anyone\'s interested and can come
up with a decent offer, you can contact me. I\'m located in Belgium, but
shipping is possible.

What would be a nice asking price if I put this on eBay?

Does anyone know where I can get legs for my bass drum? I scored a load of SDS 7
and 8 pads on ebay and the bass drum has no legs. is there an alternative to
finding vintage legs?

comment:
Hi Nate,
there are several possibilities to solve this problem. The diameter of the leg wholes matches with the diameter for the tom arms. So you can easily fix the bassdrum with two long pearl compatible tom arms to a rack or find a metal tube with this particular diameter in your local DIY superstore. If you can get these tubes, it\'s not much more effort to weld a pair yourself (or let someone do it who has a welding torch).
Actually I have seen legs on Ebay while the pad itself got destroyed in a fire, but I guess it\'s not worth waiting. Keep your eyes open for a bassdrum pad in poor condition with the legs. I got one of those a couple of months ago for about 15 Euros.
Good luck!
