Great Site - well presented. Your kits are in amazing condition.

Came here from google search looking for info on pads (we sell bankrupt stock on
ebay - came across lots of part kits). You kind of forget that the 80\'s were so
long ago Ha Ha!!

I\'m nbo drummer....but I know some folks who are - will forward your site on!

All the best

Cockney John

Great site! I still have my original SDS5 brain & the Kick Drum pad (circa
1981). The other pads all suffered too much damage over the years. I replaced
the black polycarbonate surfaces several times on various pads (I found a
plastics company that sold P-C but only transparent. I also changed the
\'piezo\' sensors
(which would work themselves loose every so often). These were glued to the rear
of the wooden pad and then covered liberally with a transparent sillicon gel.
You would know when they had become loose as the drum would start to double
trigger. (Still remember the terrible blisters I use to get playing the SDS5)
But I loved it. I bought a SDS7, in 1985, but never really liked it. The rack
stand was very poor quality with plastic clamps and cheap pad arms that
shattered after a while. Trying to change eproms was also a nightmare especially
if you bent the pins. I always wanted a SDX but could not afford one. I have
enjoyed looking at your photo of the SDS5 brain. You
