Hi Wolfgang.

I have a SDSV bass pad where the playing surface is starting to peel up, do you
have and do\'s and donts here to a successful repair.Is it a good idea to strip
down and reglue the playing surface??I thought it best to ask the PRO before
doing some damage.

I cannot recommend any system as I don\'t have any and I am not experienced with systems like that at all. But beside the specialised E-Drum amps you can keep an eye on bassguitar or keybooard combos as well! I know from a couple of former Simmons drummers that they used bass amps for personal monitoring (in fact the Simmons SDC was the first E-Drum combo ever). When you look in you local music store: bring your SDS1000 with a pad.

I have a complete Simmons SDS8 set, in fantastic condition, all original
hardware, cables, manual and all. Even have receipt. I have had them in boxes
for years and am now looking to sell them. What would they be worth?

I bought 2 x SDS 9 pads in mint condition yesterday but i noticed the pad rubber
surface marks very easily, what you suggest to put in the pad to not mark it
everytime i play. best regards

these marks cannot be avoided, but sticks with plastic tip leave less marks than wooden tips do
