I have a set (10 pads actually) but a few don\'t make contact or must be played very hard. How can i remove the surface of the pad when i want to control the inside?
Cheers

There was a day when I found a cheap Simmons kit in a second hand store in Notting Hill. Well, I bought the kit and set it up. After a few days of using the kit a nearly new DW kickpedal broke although I am not a \"hard hitter\" at all. I think the reason for that is that the Simmons pads were really hard, too hard in fact. Better are the newer rubber or mesh heads. Simmons was great in its time, but this time is over. Modern electric drums are easier to play and sound more like the real thing.

Hello... SDS 9 pad questions anyone? 1. What is the best type of cable to replace original cables? 2. How can you tell a dual zone small pad from a regular small pad?
