Hopefully wolfgang or Michael Buchner will see this post. I bought an NOS
Simmons Porta-Kit in the box a few months ago that had never been used. It was
found in the stockroom of an out of business music store here in the USA. It
worked perfectly when I first got it and all of a sudden, it stopped and now
gibberish shows up on the display and no sounds are transmitting via Midi in or
Midi Out. I was hoping to find someone that may know where to find an original
service manual for the Porta-Kit. I would hate to have to throw away such a
pristine piece of Simmons History that was still new in the box since the
1980\'s. If Michael Buchner can help, please contact me!!!!!!

Hi there,

I have an SDS 9 (and I LOVE IT). Unfortunately the headphone output is very
scratchy, and the trimpot for the \"mix\" output is broken off. I was wondering
if you had a schematic or repair manual that would give me the specific parts I
need.... I solder/do repairs as a job, so just need the documentation.... Any
help would be amazing.

I was one of the first people to own the SDS7 kit.in the US. I sold the brain a
few years ago but I do have 3 original EPROMs from the unit.
The tags call them \"bright tom\" on the eproms. I believe they had Phil Collins
drums recorded on them.
They are up for sale now.Will be on ebay soon with pics

Is it still possible to obtain the tightening screws for the SDS9 pads? I have
a few that have stripped and will no longer clamp. Thanks.
