Hi, Is there anyone that knows how to do a 115-to-230V conversion of an SDS-V?
Is there a direct replacement for the original US transformer ?
Thanks
Lars

Hi, I have one TMI equipment and a couple of ddrum triggers I would like to use
to trigger my acoutic drum into Cubse with drumagog or ez drum. Can I assign
each trigger input to one independent midi channel output?
Thanks

comment: Hi Paulo, the TMI can only handle 1 midi channel at a time. So you can only asign midi notes to each trigger. But a drum map within Cuabse should be able to do your required job and route midi notes to different channels
Best
Wolfgang

I\'m trying to refurbish my SDS9 pads back to their former glory.
Does anyone know with type of plastic is used in the SDS9 shells? Polycarbonate,
acrylic or styren?
I\'m having difficulties polishing them...

cheers

I have a Simmons SDS 3 (+ two pads) which has been sitting in a box for some
years and is now not working. I\'m thinking of selling it but don\'t know
whether to get it repaired first. Does anyone know of a repairer in the London
area? Thanks

Hello,
I\'m 26 years old and have been gifted a lot of my father\'s old drum equipment,
including a Simmons SDSV 5 kit complete with Brain (Bass, Snare, and TomX3),
Pads (yellow), and all the mounting hardware. It\'s hard to believe that he was
able to afford the kit in the early 80\'s on a bartender\'s wage, but he somehow
managed to do it. Now it\'s mine and, although it works fine, I\'d really like
to restore it. The Brain itself needs the most work. There\'s some tarnishing
on the metal surfaces and a few knobs missing. Does anybody out there have any
suggestions on fixing these problems? Perhaps a download of the service manual?
Any help is appreciated.

I\'ve checked out the site...very cool!!
The \"Simmons era\" was a great time for me and it had a big influence on the
sound of Saga music at that time.
Keep it up Wolfgang!!
All the best,
Steve Negus

The best live uses of Simmons were Ultravox The Voice and all of the Eurythmics
Sweet Dreams tour. Although I live in Australia, I was lucky to see both.
Amazing sounds miss them live. Great site.
