I have a couple of Simmons SDS9 Pads with broken plastic shells. I would like to repair them. Can anyone tell me what specific type of plastics were used to make the original SDS9 shells? ABS, Poly, Nylon????? Any help is much appreciated.
Cheers,
Scott

Hi Wolfgang,
I recently dug out a piece of unused equipment I had in storage for years, and a little research revealed that it\'s a custom Simmons SDSV trigger interface built by Spaceward Studios in Cambridge for Dave Stewart. I have some photos of it and some interesting background from Spaceward. Would you like me to e-mail them to you directly?
Regards,
Chris Jenkins

lovely site. I have just recently become a Simmons devotee. I am absolutely infatuated with the sounds that these machines produce. Your site is like a holy grail for Simmons, thank you for then time and energy you have put into it. I have recently acquired an SDS9 and I am looking for any EPROMS I can find. Anyone who has any for sale, please contact me at the above email. Also looking for a functioning SDS8.
