I have a problem with my SDS-8. Can anybody help me? I have the problem with
snare channel only. In Var setting a decay and bend pot seem not to work
properly. Decay is constantly giving full long signal. Rotating does not give
the change in length of a sound.
Is there any reset procedure for SDS8 or do you have any idea of how can I
repair it? Pots seem to be OK themselves, when rotating resistance changes
similary to the other channels. Please write to my mail if you have any
suggestion.

For SDS9 users with any problems. There is a reset procedure similar to the one
described in user manual but this one heals more problems. Stuck pots e.g. You
must clik twice bank when resetting.

Love the site, just bought a SDSV and was wondering if XLR male to 1/4 cable
will trigger from a new Simmons pad.

My SDS6 quit working. Looks like an issue with the frequency generator.
Everything works but the unit doesn\'t sweep across the screen. Battery ok, you
can program patterns, etc. and they come up ok, just won\'t play. Anyone have
any ideas or have fixed this issue before. It maybe be a counter chip, shift
register or something. So hard to troubleshoot without a schematic.

Hello!
My Simmons Portakit is not doing well.
I wanted to see if anyone has any repair information on these?

I have read a few things about replacing battery and reinstalling software but
no actual specifics.

I am going to eventually sell it, but wanted it in good shape. Or I could sell
it for parts, but that\'s no fun!

Hi. I own a Simmons SDS 1000m kit. My sds 1000 module doesnt save any changes at
the user programs, so I thought I need to replace a battery inside for the
memory, but surprisingly couldnt find any inside the unit. I was hoping you can
help me figure out what to do. Thank you :)
